Fall brings cool things to do in Shreveport-Bossier City

As the temps fall, the excitement heats up with lots of fun things to do in Shreveport and Bossier City. We’ve included a few of our top picks here, but for a complete listing of the many festivals and events happening in the area, please visit

What could be cooler than a farmers' market?
- Shreveport Farmers' Market continues every Saturday morning through Nov. 21.
- The newest local farmers market, the Bossier City Farmers Market, is at Pierre Bossier Mall each Saturday through Dec. 19.
- The Haughton Farmers Market & Artisan Fair is Saturdays through Nov. 21, with a holiday market on Dec. 12.

The baddest show on dirt, the National Black Rodeo, comes to CenturyLink Center on Nov. 21.

Music lovers can choose from a plethora of musical blockbusters like:
