The Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourist Bureau is the official visitor information center for the Shreveport-Bossier area and Caddo and Bossier Parishes in northwest Louisiana.
The bureau's mission is to attract paid overnight visits to our area. We do this by marketing Shreveport, Bossier City, and the surrounding area as an exciting travel destination for visitors, group tours, meeting planners, and the media. In general, our target market is the 500-mile radius surrounding Shreveport and Bossier City.
The Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourist Bureau is a quasi-governmental organization funded by an occupancy tax. In addition to an administration department, the tax supports the marketing activities of a tourism marketing department, a convention marketing department and a communications department.
