SHREVEPORT CONVENTION CENTER
The new Shreveport Convention Center opened in January 2006 and has received rave reviews from major regional conventions and trade shows hosted there. The 350,000-square-foot center is the single largest public facility in the city. With its outside design of custom brick and vast expanses of glass, the two-story structure will feature two main levels, the ground floor will house the main exhibit hall, and the second floor will contain the ballroom and meeting areas. Flexible in its design, the Shreveport Convention Center will be able to support several different meeting groups at one time. The new Shreveport Convention Center has already been booked for meetings like the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners Regional Meeting, the 2007 TOPS Conference, BWI Companies, Inc. Expo 2006 and Expo 2007, Louisiana Architects Association Design Conference, Beefmaster Breeders United Convention 2008, and many more. No event is too big or too small.
The hours, admission fees and schedule of events held at the Shreveport Convention Center vary depending on the type of event. For complete information visit the official Shreveport Convention Center website.
