Shreveport-Bossier City has the perfect event facilities and full service hotels for your meeting, large or small. For larger events, the new 350,000-square-foot Shreveport Convention Center is the single largest public facility in the city. With its design of custom brick and vast expanses of glass, the two-story structure features two main levels. The ground floor houses the main exhibit hall; the second floor contains the ballroom and meeting areas. The recently opened Hilton Hotel is adjacent to the Shreveport Convention Center and is the perfect property for overnighting your conference attendees. The community is also proud of Bossier City's Civic Center Complex with modern facilities offering 24,000 sq. ft. of meeting and exhibit space and seating for 3,000. Larger groups can be accommodated in a stand-up reception configuration and upstairs meeting rooms.
In addition to the major convention facilities, Shreveport-Bossier has a number of other facilities that offer meeting space. Home to some of the finest thoroughbred racing in the country, Harrah's Louisiana Downs is a prime attraction for meeting groups after hours. Its two dining rooms and four hospitality suites are available for private parties.
