The museum's permanent collection features works of French academic artist Jean Despujols documenting the people of Indochina. Exciting temporary exhibition schedule presents the highest level of aesthetic achievements of individuals and cultures.

Caddo Indian relics and memorabilia from 1837-1940.

Colorful exhibits of authentic art, crafts, furniture and artifacts telling the history of 26 cultures identified in Shreveport, Bossier City and Northwest Louisiana. Science and entertainment center featuring over 290 science, math and space exhibits, daily changing programs, an IMAX Dome Theatre, open-access, interactive laser Space Center, gift shop and café.

19th-century steam equipment from the Shreveport Water Works Company. Built in 1887 this was the nation's last operating steam-powered water works when the steam engines were retired in 1980. A National Historic Landmark.

Features more than 300 original pieces of African-American and African art. Open Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Antiques and artifacts exhibited in one of Shreveport's oldest buildings, circa 1865. Listed in The National Register of Historic Places. Original vault, Victorian cast-iron grillwork gallery, maps, videos, Civil War artifacts, uniforms and equipment from both World Wars and much more. 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.

Elvis has come back to the building, where his career really started. Immediately upon entering the auditorium, you'll feel something special where Elvis and many other country music legends got their start. Gift shop. Guided tours 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
