    Shreveport-Bossier is  home to six new behind-the-scenes and hands-on tours at local attractions. The new group tours have been designed to be special, one-of-a-kind experiences that can’t be done anywhere but Shreveport-Bossier. Every tour is interactive and will surprise and delight visitors with elements such as taste-testing rose food products to walking in the footsteps of music legends like Elvis Presley. 

    Tour prices range from $10 per person to $35. A group tour can book one or several experiences directly with the attraction.

  • American Rose Center

    Serene forest setting nestled within 118 acres of beautiful roses, jonquils, dogwoods, magnolias and more. The center is headquarters for the American Rose Society. More than 20,000 roses are planted in 60 spectacular individual gardens.

  • Asian Gardens of Shreveport

    Today, what was formerly known as the Municipal Plaza Park is now The Asian Gardens of Shreveport.

    Visitors can appreciate the many Asian countries represented in the Park:
    1. Mahabodhi Park Indian Garden
    2. Jardin De Isabelle Phlippine Garden
    3. Ikeda Ou-Bai-Tou-Ri Garden Japanese Garden
    4. Thai Spirit House Thai Garden

  • Liberty Garden

    Memorial to honor local and national firemen and policemen who have lost their lives. The garden has a fountain and benches amid beautiful landscaping. Faces Beckett Street.

  • R. W. Norton Art Gallery

    Each Spring, the grounds of the Norton Art Gallery burst into bloom with beautiful azalea gardens. The museum houses collections of American and European sculptures, paintings and decorative arts spanning four centuries.

    Open Tuesday through Friday 10 am - 5 pm, Saturday and Sunday 1 pm- 5 pm. Admission is free.
