  • Boom or Bust Byway

    This scenic byway through the piney woods of Northwest Louisiana takes you through Oil City, Vivian, Hosston, Plain Dealing, Sarepta, Shongaloo, Homer and Lisbon, and connects with other alternate routes along the way. Small towns chock full of treasures, history and fine eating. Hwy. 2 through Caddo, Bossier, Webster, and Claiborne parishes.

    Shreveport-Bossier has become the filming destination for some of the biggest names in the industry. Please pick up a brochure of the self-directed tour of many film sites.   • Spirit of the Red River Cruise

    This hour-long tour on the Red River showcases Shreveport-Bossier’s waterways and community from a different vantage point. The tour showcases the Outlets at the Louisiana Boardwalk, Sci-Port: Louisiana’s Science Center (located just across the street), and six casinos. It also showcases the beautiful birds and fauna of the popular river. It operates Thursday-Saturday, 10 am-5 pm and Sunday, 12 noon-5 pm. The last cruise on any day is 4 pm.
