2022 Excellence in Hospitality Awards

The Excellence in Hospitality Awards celebrates the stories of resilience, innovation, and creativity of our industry. This will enable us to shine a light on more extraordinary individuals, teams, and businesses and how they have coped with the COVID-19 pandemic and pushed on to recovery.

Recognizing an Attraction for contributions to Shreveport-Bossier’s tourism industry—by implementing innovative ideas and/or demonstrating passion for enhancing travel to its community.
 
Attraction Employee of the Year
Recognizing an individual for his/her extraordinary contributions and commitment to his/her community and attraction–and its guests.

Hospitality Hero (Individual Employee)
Recognizing an individual in the tourism or hospitality industry that has gone above and beyond in 2021 to innovate, support frontline workers, provide assistance in the community, or act selflessly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Hospitality Hero (Business or Organization)
Recognizing a business or organization in the tourism or hospitality industry that has gone above and beyond in 2021 to innovate, support frontline workers, provide assistance in the community, or act philanthropically during the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Outstanding Services Award
Recognizing an individual in the service industry that has gone above and beyond in the quality of customer care provided, and the overall impression of the giving a guest a wonderful experience.
 
Volunteer of the Year
Recognizing an individual who works in the hospitality industry or someone that volunteers at a hospitality industry event or festival.
 
Event Venue of the Year
Recognizing an event for contributions to Shreveport-Bossier’s tourism industry—by implementing innovative ideas and/or demonstrating passion for enhancing travel to its community.

Recognizing an individual or business that has delivered a tourism event in exceptional ways, from start to finish, to improve the guest experience at an event.
