Company is Coming Clean-Up Campaign

Be a part of the Shreveport-Bossier hospitality industry's
effort to clean up Shreveport and Bossier City.

The quarterly clean-up dates for 2020 are set. Register your team below.

The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau, Shreveport Green, and Keep Bossier Beautiful are the proud sponsors of Company is Coming, a new initiative aimed at increasing the hospitality and tourism industry’s efforts to combat litter in Shreveport-Bossier. Hospitality industry businesses including hotels, casinos, restaurants, and attractions are encouraged to form a team and participate in quarterly litter cleanups on and near their properties. The 2020 Company is Coming cleanup dates are:

First Quarter - February 3-7, 2020
Second Quarter - May 11-15, 2020
Third Quarter - September 21-25, 2020
Fourth Quarter - November 16-20, 2020 

There is no set time for the Company is Coming cleanup. Participating groups are asked to register in advance each quarter and conduct a cleanup of their property at whatever time works best for their team that week. Cleanup participants must provide their own materials such as garbage bags, litter grabbers, and gloves. Cleanup teams can win prizes for participating.  
                                                                
The prize up for grabs each quarter will be a staff pizza party for the winning team. Teams may enter to win the prize by e-mailing photographs of their cleanup efforts, as well as the number of participating volunteers and the number of trash bags filled, to Charlie Rice at CRice@sbctb.org. Photos and information must be submitted to Rice by 5 p.m. on the Tuesday following the scheduled clean-up week. A winner will be randomly selected from all eligible team entries.
