Earl G. Williamson Park - TEMPORARY PARTIAL CLOSURE

Earl G. Williamson Park, a 40-acre park, provides a public boat ramp, a 450-foot fishing pier, paved parking areas, restrooms with showers, RV camper hook-ups, areas for tent camping, extensive picnic facilities, two playgrounds, volleyball nets, a ballfield, tennis courts and a swimming area.

Beginning Monday, June 28, 2021, Earl G. Williamson Park will be closed for major electrical upgrades and several park improvements.

The boat launch and adjacent parking areas for boaters and fishing population will remain open throughout the entire construction/park improvement process; recreational fishing and boating will not be affected.

 Additional park improvements include:

• Installation of new fishing pier
• Installation of new ballfield lights
• Ballfield upgrades
• Addition of a 9-hole disc golf course
• Restroom upgrades
• Sidewalk upgrades
• Installation of new park signage and welcome kiosk
• Installation of new trash receptacles

 Completion is scheduled for mid to late November 2021, with no impacts anticipated to the annual Christmas on Caddo Fireworks Festival, slated for December 4, 2021.
