Shreveport Dog Park

Located in an active area of the riverfront, this almost 4-acre area provides a park for people with seating and a scenic overlook of the river, and a fenced area for those with dogs. There are separate areas for large and small dogs. The facility has bathrooms and ample parking.

The dog park enhances the activities provided on the riverfront that include a skate board park, disk golf park, marina/boat launch, walking and biking trails, baseball fields, sprayground, memorial areas,  YMCA complex with a pool and more. The area is also used for other sports-related interests.  

This regional dog park is located on Clyde Fant Parkway at Stoner Avenue, 2 miles south of downtown on the riverfront, inside of the Stoner Boat Launch Facility, 857 East Stoner, Shreveport, Louisiana 71101.

The dog park is open 7 days a week during the daylight hours that may vary depending on Daylight Saving's Time.  Summer hours are 6 a.m. -10 p.m. Closed until noon on Mondays for maintenance.
