Located on historic Elvis Presley Avenue, Shreveport Municipal Auditorium has a storied history as the home of The Louisiana Hayride, which gave rise to many international stars including The King of Rock 'N Roll, Elvis Presley. Built in the 1920s and noted for its intricate brickwork and lavish interior, Shreveport Municipal Auditorium is considered the finest example of Art Deco architecture in the State of Louisiana.

The Muni is a versatile venue for sporting events, touring acts, live local concerts, graduations, family shows, parties, and debutante balls in Shreveport, La., and is well-known for its superior acoustics and versatility of use.

The building features seating accommodations for more than 3,000, a 6,300-square-foot arena, 54-foot proscenium arch, the largest stage in the area, catering/concession areas, and box office services. It was completely renovated in 2014.
