Spring Street Museum


Enjoy free admission at the Spring Street Museum. Learn about the history of Shreveport's oldest days with new interactive exhibits and old artifacts documenting Shreveport's infamous Red Light District, Civil War history, and more than 2,200 relics that tell bits and pieces of Shreveport's history. This Civil War-era building with its New Orleans-style cast-iron grillwork was originally a bank. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
