Located at the corner of Texas Avenue and Common Street in downtown Shreveport, the Makers Fair recreates the lively vibe that once was commonplace in this historic, downtown neighborhood. The Texas Avenue Makers Fair was founded as a way to draw the community to this underutilized section of Downtown Shreveport as the Texas Avenue Community Association and other organizations work to revitalize the area.
Makers offer a wide assortment of handmade, re-purposed or reconstructed items ranging from clothing and fashion accessories to toys, food and art.
Admission is free and abundant free parking is available near the event.
