Originally opened in 1937, The Glass Hat Cocktail Lounge and Grill offered libations aplenty, live music and a signature dish - fried chicken with cream gravy and hot biscuits. The newly reimagined Glass Hat Cafe remains in downtown Shreveport and serves up Southern favorites, with an extensive breakfast menu, daily plate lunches, sandwiches, and a small selection of salads.
