Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards took significant measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Louisiana. A statewide "stay at home" order was issued through April 30 requiring Louisiana residents to shelter in place unless going out for essential tasks, as one of the most stringent steps yet to stanch the “community spread” of COVID-19.
From Dallas, take US 80 east to I-20. Continue east on I-20 to Shreveport-Bossier City.
From Little Rock, take I-30 south to Texarkana. Exit I-30 onto the AR 245 loop south to AR 549 south. From AR 549, take US 71 south to Shreveport-Bossier City.
From Oklahoma City, take I-35 south to Denton, Texas, and take I-35 East to I-635 East. Continue on I-635E to US 80. Take US 80 east to I-20 East. Then follow I-20 east into Shreveport-Bossier City.
From New Orleans, take I-10 West to I-49 North. Follow I-49 north into Shreveport-Bossier City.
From Jackson, Mississippi, take I-20 East into Shreveport-Bossier City.
From Houston, take US 59 north toward Nacogdoches. Merge onto US 259 North to Henderson. Take TX 315 north to Carthage. From Carthage follow US 79 north to Greenwood, La. In Greenwood, go east on I-20 into Shreveport-Bossier City.
