Due to the ongoing financial strain caused by COVID-19, it’s more important than ever to support local businesses. Many of the businesses hit hardest by the pandemic are hospitality industry businesses including hotels, restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions. While some restaurants remain open for delivery and curbside pickup, others have temporarily closed in an effort to help “flatten the curve” (see a regularly-updated list of restaurant closures and changes here). Please support local restaurants when ordering curbside pickup or delivery!

Support United Way of Northwest Louisiana's United for NWLA Fund for Hospitality Workers
United Way of Northwest Louisiana—in partnership with the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau, Shreveport-Bossier Attractions Association, and Shreveport-Bossier Hotel and Lodging Association—has established a fund to financially assist staff members in the tourism industry who have been affected by COVID-19. Tourism industry businesses include restaurants, attractions, casinos, hotels, and more. Support 318 Eats    
318 Eats is a grassroots effort that uses donated funds to purchase meals from local restaurants for delivery to healthcare workers, first responders, and senior citizens.
