Visit Shreveport-Bossier organizes events to facilitate networking among our industry partners, to recognize the outstanding achievements of those who serve our visitors, to promote our hotels, restaurants, attractions and events, and just to have a great time.
SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER ATTRACTIONS ASSOCIATION SEMINARS
The Shreveport-Bossier Attractions Association in conjunction with Visit Shreveport-Bossier provides four educational opportunities a year to help local attractions grow their customer base, enhance their marketing and improve their financial outlook. Membership in the SBAA is free, but you must be a member in good standing to attend the seminars. Learn more about membership in SBAA.

EXCELLENCE IN HOSPITALITY AWARDS
Who are your star employees?
Visit Shreveport-Bossier is proud to present the annual awards to recognize excellence in the hospitality industry. This event is held in May each year in conjunction with National Tourism Week.
This annual event is your opportunity to recognize excellence in your employees. A link to the nomination form will be provided when nominations open. You will be able to purchase your tickets online. Tickets must be purchased by the deadline. There will be no ticket sales after the deadline and no ticket sales at the door.
CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE
Visit Shreveport-Bossier generally holds its annual Christmas Open House on the first Friday in December.
THEMED MEDIA TOURS
The bureau frequently hosts groups of travel writers on tours of Shreveport-Bossier. Activities focus on local food and include visits to local restaurants, attractions and events. If you are interested in hosting these writers at your business, contact the Communications Department at communications@visitshreveportbossier.org.
