Shreveport-Bossier’s Mardi Gras is firing off event after event in 2020. Our community loves to celebrate the Carnival season from Twelfth Night, Jan. 5 to Fat Tuesday, Feb. 25. Returning this year is Pardi Gras – Featuring Le Freak, which is hosted by Horseshoe Casino and Hotel in Bossier City. This popular, energetic, adult-only event presents a night of unique fun by blending two popular party themes, Mardi Gras and the 70’s. Groove the night away at Pardi Gras on Friday, Feb. 7 from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at the Horseshoe Casino Riverdome.

This is not your typical Mardi Gras bal. 70’s costume attire is heavily encouraged, so bring out your biggest afros, bellbottoms, fringe jackets and tye dyed tees! Live entertainment will be provided by Le Freak, the self-proclaimed “greatest disco band in the world.” They’ve shared the stage with big names such as Vanilla Ice, Kool & the Gang and The Commodores.  They bring the “pardi” with high quality vocals and a funky song selection that’s guaranteed to fill the dance floor.

You must be 21 to attend. Tickets are $55-$1000. Food and dessert included. Cash bars will be available. All proceeds from Pardi Gras will support the following local non-profits: Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana, Louisiana Association for the Blind, and the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana.
