The State Fair of Louisiana returns, Oct. 25-Nov. 11, with nonstop entertainment including nightly free concerts, carnival rides, street entertainers, outrageous food, and the annual LRCA Finals Rodeo. Live music headliners for 2018 include Cupid and the Dance Party Express Band (Oct. 26), 69 Boyz and Ying Yang Twins (Nov. 3), Gospel Megafest (Nov. 8) and more.
The arrival of fall means three things in Shreveport-Bossier: festivals, festivals and more festivals! Check out Prize Fest 2018, a week-long celebration that combines the excitement of a film festival, food and wine, and a live music festival into one action-packed event, Oct. 3-7. The Red River Revel Arts Festival returns with three stages of live music and more than 100 art vendors, Sept. 29-Oct. 7. Say "cheers" to craft beer at BREW: Shreveport's Beer Festival, Oct. 20, and the Fifth Annual Great Raft Ramble, Oct. 13. Other fun fall events include: Greenwood, La's Pioneer Heritage Festival, Sept. 15; Highland Jazz and Blues Festival, Sept. 15; the ASEANA Autumn Festival, Oct. 27; and more.
