Located in northwest Louisiana, Shreveport-Bossier throws the best family-friendly Mardi Gras in the state. Whether you’re catching beads at a parade, tapping your feet to a second-line band, or digging into a po’boy, good times are waiting around every corner. A combined total of more than 400,000 revelers are expected to attend the Krewe of Centaur Mardi Gras Parade and Krewe of Gemini Mardi Gras Parade, which are the largest parades in northern Louisiana.
